BURNOUT COMP SATURDAY 29TH & SHOW SUNDAY 30TH OCTOBER 2011Well its that time of year again, the Annual Albany Show n Shine is here! This year the show will be held a month later than usual, due to the queens birthday holiday being moved, but other than that it’s business as usual for us street machiners!
We start our weekend off with the Super cruise, which leaves Eyre Park off Middleton Rd on Sat arvo at 1pm and which finishes at our club rooms on Sanford Rd. Come for a cruise, see the sights, chat to fellow entrants and car enthusiasts.
Our burnout comp gets bigger and better every year, with some fantastic half time entertainment and a great range of entrants. This year one of our spectators who comes along on the night and buys a raffle ticket will be in the running to win a ride front seat in one of the motorvation winning supercharged burnout cars at half time! Don’t miss out! Theres heaps of prize money up for grabs for entrants too so get your entries in. The comp is being held again this year at the Albany Attwell Park Speedway, there will be canteen and bar facilities available, gates open from 6pm til late. Bring the family and enjoy!
We then have our main event on the Sunday, the Albany Show n Shine. We are at Railways Football club on Lockyer Ave again this year. As always we provide a secure venue for entrants and there is canteen and bar facilities on the day at Railways, there will also be kids rides, a traders alley, sound off comp, food vans, plenty more to see and do, as well as a heap of quality cars in our static display.
For the first time this year, we will not only be providing great cars for everyone to see, there will also be a motorbike show as part of the Show n Shine on Sunday. Being held by Great Southern Motorcycles, there will be trophies and plenty of bikes, if you’re a motorbike fan you wont want to miss this! More info to follow on this exciting new addition to our show.
With part proceeds from the show going to charity & with plenty to keep the kids entertained, why not bring the family along and have a great day out!
